I’ve heard back from a few more schools now.  My results stand as follows

Oregon – Accepted $4,000 per year

Quinnipiac – Accepted $25,000 per year

Stetson – Accepted

Michigan State – Accepted 50% tuition

UConn – Waitlist

UDenver – Waitlist

Penn State – Waitlist

Lewis and Clark – Application held for further consideration

Richmond – pending

William and Mary – pending

At this point my decision pretty much comes down to Quinnipiac, UConn, William and Mary, and Richmond.  With 3 unknowns here, I am hardly speculating.

Recently I was added to the waitlist for the University of Denver, which I was excited was not a rejection.  Today, I am thrilled to say that I’ve been waitlisted at UConn.  UConn is definitely one of my top choices, and I know it is a stretch for me.  To know that I am someone who is on the fringe is incredibly exciting for me.  I’ve got 5 more to hear from now, but what I am going to be waiting on every day now is what happens to me as a member of the UConn waitlist!

I’m now a perfect 3 for 3, having gotten into the 3 easiest schools on my list.  I got an acceptance from Stetson this morning.  There are 7 more schools now with much more stringent criteria for admissions so my high of getting in everywhere is probably about to end.  This is why I chose ten schools that I would enjoy being at to apply to.  Even if the next 7 are all rejections I will still be happy with my options.
